Massa in hospital for examinations but conscious 

Budapest, 25 July 2009 - Qualifying signed by an accident at the end of Q2, when Felipe Massa was hit by an object on his helmet. Worrying moments for the Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro. Felipe is conscious and has been brought to Budapest hospital for routine examinations.

From the qualifying's point of view Kimi Raikkonen gained a starting position on row four with the seventh fastest lap time (1:22.468). Pole position went to Fernando Alonso with Renault (1:21.769), followed by Vettel and Webber with Red Bull
