Doha, 23 January –Marc Gené’s Qatar visit came to an end this afternoon when he took part in the opening ceremony of the second staging of the Qatar International Motor Show. The Scuderia Ferrari driver took part in the debut of the 458 Spider in the Persian Gulf region: the latest car from Maranello was actually shown for the first time today on the stand of the official Ferrari importer in Qatar, Alfardan Sports Motors. Also catching the eye was the Ferrari FF, the first car to come out of Maranello with a revolutionary all-wheel drive system. “It was a nice experience and I was deeply touched by the warmth and passion with which I was greeted by the people I met over these three days,” said Marc. “Qatar is a country with a great potential and events like this prove it and bear witness to the growing interest here in the world of the automobile.”
