Malaysian GP – Alonso triumphs for Ferrari at Sepang

3.25.2012
Sepang, 25 March – Victory in the Malaysian Grand Prix, the second round of the Formula 1 World Championship went to Fernando Alonso and Ferrari at the Sepang circuit this afternoon. A few laps in, the race had to be stopped because of a heavy storm and later restarted behind the Safety Car. The Spaniard took the win ahead of the Sauber of Sergio Perez with Lewis Hamilton third for McLaren. In the other F2012, Felipe Massa was less fortunate, finishing fifteenth. It was a precious win for Scuderia Ferrari before the team heads home to Italy. There is now a two week break before the series resumes at the Shanghai Circuit over the weekend of 15 April.
