Maranello, 21 February - First day of testing for Scuderia Ferrari at the Catalunya Circuit, near Barcelona. It fell to Fernando Alonso to give the F2012 its debut at this track. The Spaniard continued with the tasks of development and data acquisition relating to the behaviour of the new car. Fernando completed a total of 75 laps, the fastest in a time of 1.24.100.

The Scuderia continues testing at this circuit tomorrow, once again with Fernando Alonso on track.
